Our ridiculously talented chefs are teaming up with Dingly Dell to bring you a slightly different take on our usual monthly pop-up....
The Pork Lover's Pop-up Is a one-off (well... two nights/one weekend) showcase of suffolk's finest pork and best chefs coming together to bring you your next meat-coma!
Dinner will consist of a platter of a variety of pork dishes for each diner for £25 - this includes a beer or glass of wine. We will have two sittings: 6:15 for a 6:30 dinner or 7:45pm for 8pm serving.
Wilhelm, our incredible mixologist, will of course be on hand whipping up delicious drinks to complement the feast.
If this sounds like just what you've been waiting for, call the cafe now on 01394548161 to book your table. We're expecting this one to book up pretty quickly so gather your mates and get in touch ASAP!
A few things you should know:
This is an entirely carnivorous menu - with the comically small size of our kitchen we will be unable to offer a vegetarian alternative to "platter of meat" so if you're not totally committed to pork, maybe come in next weekend instead when we will be serving our usual variety of small-plates.
Where we won't know final details of what will be on the platter until closer to the date, expect a set menu of a variety of pork dishes. Alterations to the menu will not be possible - if you bring a friend though I'm sure they won't mind swapping things about with you.
Excessive consumption of meat has been linked to various cancers and diseases, including some major cardio-vascular issues. This will be far more than your daily recommended dose of meat (90g). You are presumably a grown up and it is your responsibility to make an informed decision about what you eat - we will not be accepting any kind of complaints regarding to obesity/cardiovascular disease/cancer resulting from our pork-lover's night! We will however provide a sympathetic ear across the coffee machine, as always.
Woodbridge has many professional trainers and coaches and we're happy to recommend our own PT Jay Close if you are concerned about working off all those meaty calories!
