Here are the best H+H brunches to savour this autumn…
1. Avo, eggs + bacon
You can’t go wrong with this H+H classic. Our signature brunch is filling and packed full of flavour. A slice of toasted sourdough is spread with smashed avocado, topped with bacon, grilled halloumi and 2 perfectly poached eggs. A spoonful of chilli jam, drizzle of oil and a sprinkling of crispy shallots finish this dish off.

2. Full English / Winchester Breakfast
Colder weather calls for a comforting, big breakfast! Our Full English & Winchester Breakfast are complete with all the trimmings.
In Suffolk, the Full English includes toasted sourdough, a local Procter’s sausage patty, bacon, fried eggs, black pudding, H+H posh beans, a grilled Portobello mushroom, grilled tomato & hash brown.
The Winchester Breakfast (available at H+H Winchester only) is the same, but comes with 2 Hogget & Boar Cumberland sausages instead of the sausage patty.
3. Eggs Hollandaise
An indulgent choice for brunch lovers, you can’t go wrong with eggs Hollandaise. Choose your favourite topping from wilted spinach, bacon or smoked salmon, and enjoy it served on a slice of toasted sourdough, topped with house Hollandaise sauce and microgreens.

4. Croque Monsieur
Autumn was made for toasted sandwiches! The H+H Croque Monsieur comprises local Suffolk dry cured ham and mature Cheddar cheese in sourdough bread, and is served with a pot of tomato chutney on the side. It’s an excellent choice for lunch, and if you fancy it, add a fried egg for a little more indulgence.

5. Toasties
At H+H Winchester, toasties are a favourite. In sourdough and served with a side salad, pick your favourite filling;
- 3 cheese – layered Red Leicester, mozzarella & Emmental cheese
- Layered bacon & melted brie, with tomato & onion chutney
- Plant based mozzarella & roasted red peppers

6. Truffled mushrooms on toast
Wild mushrooms bring a lovely earthy flavour to the menu. Combined with red pesto, truffle oil & chives, this is an autumnal flavour combination you don’t want to miss! For an extra hit of protein, add perfectly poached eggs.

7. Soup of the day
Just the thing to warm you through after a chilly autumn walk, our chefs have plenty of delicious flavour combinations up their sleeves for soup! You’ll find our soup changes daily, but favourites include tomato & basil and leek & potato. Served with toasted sourdough in Winchester or a toasted flaguette in Suffolk.

To accompany an autumnal brunch, we have great coffee from Butterworths, crafted with care by our baristas, a selection of teas (best enjoyed with a sweet treat from our counter), as well as drinks specials, including the iconic pumpkin spice latte. You’ll also find flavours like black forest, Biscoff and apple crumble for frappes, hot chocolates and milkshakes.
